Does anybody have examples of large scale deployments which link financial institutions together with all kinds of other players, like mobile companies, packaged goods manufacturers, and transit authorities? Not pilots, but real, viable, mutually beneficial and LARGE scale deployments. It is probably still too early to understand how financial institutions can benefit from these arrangements. It might be useful to test out these relationships through limited projects, but there is probably no need to include them as a core part of a major, highly visible credit or debit card portfolio.
