A glimpse of Taggo's single click fan club registration

Taggo makes it easy for shoppers to join fan clubs on the spot. Scan the QR code at the store, click like, and you're done. Then, at the counter, simply give your mobile number to the cashier. No cards, no coupons, no vouchers. And no special apps on your phone.

The registration site uses the cover photo from the fan page as the background graphic, so it is automatically white labeled for each fan club.

So where is the "loyalty".
anyone can scan and click on "like it" while entering shop and after getting discount you can immediately undo "like it".
whats there for the shop owners to run the loyalty program?

why not keep track with only mobile number. along with instant discounts, can use the normal RFM loyalty criteria provided there will be simple application or small site where shoppers/customers can check rewards and their points. Will be good for shop owners and customers bypassing payment mode, issuers and acquirers.

Hi Yogesh. Thanks for your comments.

Where is the loyalty when a customer pulls out a DBS card for a 10% discount? Why does the merchant fund this?

Where is the loyalty when the merchant takes a 75% cut on a Groupon deal? Why does the merchant do this?

Looking at these questions is more useful in my opinion than getting too stuck on loyalty.

Hello Aneace,

We have the same name even if we write it differently. Looks like every Aneace/Enis/Ennis are working in the same area starting from Enis and Paul :)

I have developed a Multi Wallet Stored Value Payment Platform and we are testing it to launch in New Zealand.

The loyalty in my understanding is related to the payment process ideally in a 'prepay' mode.

We are asking retailers to offer 'extra value' instead of discounts. I would like to talk to you more about our start up as I think our technologies can compliment each other.

Regards
